Milne Bay

Today we flew to the city of Alotou in the provence of Milon bay. It was about an hour flight with a twin prop plane.   When we got here we were greeted by the Deputy minister of education at the airport and pastor Nielish. We drove to the city about 15min from airport and checked into our place.  We were able to get a beatiful little resortish place that has an ocean view. It does not have A/C or showers but has a small restaurant and there own Wallabee.  The room we had has only screens on the windows so the breeze should help us sleep.  We went for a walk along the shore line and a local knocked down some coconuts for us.

While waiting for them to release the Bibles from the dock we went into the small village and did a little shopping.

By 4:30pm they released the Bibles and we were able to deliver them to the two different churches that are involved in the distribution.

On the way back we stopped at a market to buy some fresh fruit. Banana and lemon fruit were the only things left that we wanted, little unsure about the rest of the stuff at the open market, they had lots of different fish, plants, nuts that were not familiar to us.

We are now at the resort waiting to go for supper at one of the  churches.  Tomorrow we are planning on doing some school's nearby. On Wednesday we are planning on going to several islands by dingy to deliver Bible's there.

We are looking forward to getting Bibles out, just takes a lot of logistics to get them there.  I appreciate Bro Brooks patience with us. He has been such a blessing.  I have a lot if admiration for his care for us, and the people of PNG.  Please continue to pray that God would open the doors and get us into the schools.  Also for God's protection and guidance as we go about the work, and that we would be a blessing to the people here.

God Bless
Bro Wiebe
