Sunday Services

Today was a more relaxing day. As usual we had our devotions in the morning. Ob had a great thought about being spent so that God can refill us and so we don't get stale.  We then went to Heritage Baptist church while Bro. Darling preached at another church.  The Sunday school started at 9:30 - 10:15 then regular service until 12pm. We had a 15 min break and then started the third service until 2pm. Bro Brooks preached them all, we were challenged to live right to have a good life, then a salvation message, lastly a message on how to be great for God. There was an older woman that the church had been praying for that came forward for salvation.

There were about 80-100 there, was a great atmosphere, very friendly and giving.  Each of us were able to give a testament and sang before each service.  There were some guest that came to hear Bro Brooks preach, or was a local pastor from the Highlands named Paul. They were very encouraged.   I was talking to Phil Percy from Capital City Baptist yesterday.  He grew up in PNG as a missionary kid and now he is back in ministry. He told me "Jeff you do not know how much of a blessing you are to us just by being here. The fact that you saved up and came your presence helps more than you know".   That was an eye opener for me, I did not know if maybe I was more of an hindrance, with the amount of locals that are involved as well I was concerned that maybe they felt that we were just steeling the lime light, I came to be a blessing, but not sure if I was accomplishing that goal.   The people treat us as kings, even though they have so little they love on us.
We then came back to the mission house and then out for a late lunch.

Tomorrow we head to Millon bay, because the culture is so laid back I am concerned that we are not going to get as much done as we would like.   Please pray that God would open doors so that we could get into all the schools quickly and get the Bibles out.

Pastor Homes Tako is coming with us "what a man of God" I have the most respect for him, he is a leader of leaders, great standards and loves God.   Once he gets excited it is hard to understand him, but he is bold as a lion.

Everyone here is doing well, we have been taken very good care of.

Have a great last day of Camp meeting, I imagine you are all tired and need rest.

God Bless
Bro Wiebe
